Multiplier event with 3 workshops in Prague, Czech Republic

The first event under the title “Breath and Movement AGAINST STRESS” organised by Youth Included, was implemented on the 28th of August at Atma Center to present the COPE project, its aims, outputs including the COPE online course on Art Therapy as well as the training and learning activities that involved youth workers, trainers and young people with a focus on disadvantaged youth. A discussion with experts took place on how to deal with stress and anxiety caused by migration and fleeing. The event was open for everyone and gathered 15 participants, creating a comfortable and safe environment. The event had a duration of two hours and consisted of both theoretical and practical parts. Methods of managing chronic stress were presented through physical exercises, breathing practices, and deep relaxation techniques. Participants gained knowledge on how to use active stress management techniques in everyday life.

The second event under the title “Mandala – Art Therapy for Relaxation” organised by Youth Included was implemented at the LEXIS Language School to present the COPE project, its aims, outputs including the COPE online course on Art Therapy as well as the training and learning activities that involved youth workers, trainers and young people with a focus on disadvantaged youth. It gave an opportunity to participants to explore their inner world and emotions through the creation of mandalas, unique drawings that help deepen self-awareness and promote relaxation. The event was open to everyone and gathered 15 participants in a warm and supportive atmosphere, where they could engage in creative expression using paints and brushes. Participants left the workshop with a deeper understanding of how to use art as a therapeutic tool to manage stress and enhance self-awareness. They experienced the relaxing effects of mandala creation and gained practical skills to continue this practice in their daily lives.

The third event under the title “Exploring Emotions Through Art Therapy with Crumpled Paper” organised by Youth Included was implemented at LEXIS language school to present the COPE project, its aims, outputs including the COPE online course on Art Therapy as well as the training and learning activities that involved youth workers, trainers and young people with a focus on disadvantaged youth. It was a unique event designed for participants aged 16 and older, aimed at exploring their emotions using an unconventional but powerful technique involving crumpled paper. The session encouraged participants to understand how tension is reflected in their lives and to learn how to manage it. Participants used pencils to draw while tuning into their feelings and learning to release them in a warm and supportive environment. Participants left the workshop with a better understanding of how to use art as a therapeutic tool to explore and release emotions. They experienced the effectiveness of the crumpled paper technique in managing stress and emotional tension, gaining new insights into their emotional state.
