Yesterday, our first of two training sessions on "Well-Being of Youth" and "Music Therapy" took place at the KulturCentrale (Dresden, Germany) as part of our COPE project.
Together, the participants learnt about the theoretical basis of music therapy and the many different types used to actively support young people in particular in overcoming mental problems or strengthening their psychological well-being. And of course there was also a lot of music-making! Regardless of basic musical knowledge, we conducted, composed and improvised together. What did we all feel? – Music brings joy regardless of language, culture or age!
We would like to thank all participants from the bottom of our hearts for their interest, their attention, their contributions and their musical endeavours!
The next training session will take place on 2 May at the KulturCentrale from 18:00 – 21:00. This time we will focus on the practical application of various music therapy approaches, musical improvisation and the COPE online platform. You are cordially invited to our free COPE training!
