Multiplier event of COPE in Dresden recap! Vol. 2
How do you feel when you listen to your favorite music?
On Thursday evening, June 27th, Anaïs Kelly and Izabella Modrzewska from Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. presented the profound impact of art and music on our well-being through the COPE Project and its outputs.
One of the key outputs is the COPE online course, which focuses on various art forms and their therapeutic effects on young people’s mental health. Whether you’re passionate about theater, dance, photography, music, or painting, the COPE online course is for everyone and is available in English, German, Greek, Czech, and Spanish. Every creative mind is welcome to register for free and join the COPE online course!
Izabella Modrzewska, who is a music therapist, shared her experience as the facilitator of the pilot training sessions and workshops within the COPE project framework.
The evening was a wonderful opportunity to discuss the Culture Jam Sessions held every Thursday evening at KulturCentrale. These sessions bring together people of all ages and backgrounds around a shared love for music.
The event featured a fantastic concert by Eva & Taste, showcasing the healing power of music as the audience journeyed through beautiful piano and vocal melodies. Afterwards, participants got hands-on experience by jamming together, and expressing themselves through singing, playing instruments, or even dancing!
