Training of trainers in the framework of the E+ COPE project: coping with youth anxiety and stress associated with the #COVID19 pandemic.
We have already been updating you on the progress of the COPE project, which aims to foster support among #young people to cope with #anxiety and #stress associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine. Today we met again with all online partners.
ITC has implemented a Hybrid train-the-trainer session to train 10 youth trainers interested in getting up to speed on different techniques for coping with stress and anxiety to help young people improve their mental health and well-being.
These sessions will also be organized in the Czech Republic, Greece, Austria and Germany.
As reminder, the objectives of COPE are:
(a) to identify psychosocial challenges of young people in adverse circumstances as well as good practices in the participating countries.
b) to design and develop an online learning platform for youth peer support under the guidance of professional workers based on the identified needs.
c) train trainers and youth workers and implement a pilot to promote peer support.
We will keep you updated on this amazing project.
